Vendor Biography

Drift wood collected from the west coast of Vancouver Island is transformed into functional art pieces and wall hangings to bring a part of the beach, into your home. For every piece of driftwood collected, one bucket of garbage is cleaned from the beach.

Live edge wood pieces are salvaged from the forestry industry’s burn piles, and reborn as canvases for pyrographic art.

I love working with wood, because each piece has it’s own story. The beauty in the grain tells of countless winters and summers. Each blank piece of wood is a canvas that is already a masterpiece of its own
